Hi, I’m Lucy!
My name is Lucy Wanchun Leith, and I’m an artist, designer, and teacher for all things mending and low-waste design in Chicago, IL. I design and provide mending services, workshops, and zines under the name LucyDreamsOf. When I’m not drafting garments and darning beloved, worn-out clothes, I’m drawing, making comics & zines, and leading meetups with Climbers of Color, every 3rd Thursday night at First Ascent Uptown.

All items for mending services can be dropped off and picked up at The Notch and Maydel. All items must be washed before drop off. All wool items must be dry-cleaned.

The Notch is located at 4021 N. Elston Ave, Chicago, IL 60618.
The Notch is open on Mondays 10-3pm, Wednesdays 10-7pm, and Fridays 10-3pm.
Maydel
Maydel is located at 3118 N Lincoln Ave, Chicago, IL 60657.
Maydel is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 11am to 4pm and on Mondays and Wednesdays by appointment.
